You are more than welcome to bring your own backing tracks on CD, Karaoke CDG, iPod or memory stick.
Although we don't sell backing tracks ourselves, we can recommend web sites where you can compile your own disc of around 10 tracks for between £25 and £35. You can then rehearse (without the lead vocals on the songs) to your hearts content, puting your pre-session nerves at ease. Don't forget to bring the CD with you just in case you've ordered a song we do not have.

You can purchase and download backing tracks from iTunes. Search for an artist or song and include the search term karaoke. Also preview the track to make sure you like the quality.
Removing the vocal off the original song
Removing vocals from the artists original song can be done but the process badly effects the music and the quality ends up being sub-standard. We do not use or recommend this process in our recording experiences nor does it comply with copyright laws and other regulations set by MCPS. |
