| Pop Star Party Diamond Party for up to 16 | |

The Pop Star Party Diamond is for up to 16 singers from age 8 upwards. The party is split into two super-groups and the birthday boy or girl can feature in both. Choose band names, songs to sing, then get recording. Multi-camera video DVD available. Everyone takes home a souvenir CD with colour picture and artwork.
Choosing the Songs
Once you have decided who's invited to the party with our supplied invitations, you need to choose the songs to be sung from our backing track library. You may decide to bring your own on backing track on CD if you'd prefer. We have many hits already in our backing track library, including songs from Mamma Mia! (the movie) & High School Musical 1 & 2.
The recording studio experience day
On arrival, and before commencing with the recording session, a few pictures of the entire group in their best pop star poses are taken. You will also be asked to choose names for your 2 Groups. "Girls Are Loud" or "Suga Kids" are just some examples of recent names chosen by over 350 parties we have held at our studios. This together with the best picture will create your Souvenir Picture CD, which is given to every singing participant at the end of the session.
Group 1 Enter the Live Room
Now it's to the studio live room! Whilst on half of the party stay behind in the Green Room to watch and listen on our 32" LCD screen and studio monitoring system from the comfort of the large green sofa, the first group take position and put headphones on. They'll hear themselves, the music, and the recording engineer who takes a seperate position in the main control room. Two rehearsal takes are then performed and recorded to build up the confidence; with a listen back to each one whilst you stay in the live room. We normally recommend that everyone sings the first take through all together, even if Solo parts have been organised for different parts of the song. This gives everyone a chance to warm up the voices and get re-familiarised with the track.
The Real Takes
After a short break for drinks, it's back to the live room for two real takes. The best bits from all both takes are then compiled together by the producer to form one perfectly formed track ready to be "burnt" on to your Souvenir Picture CD's for taking home at the end of your session.
Group 2's turn
They would have been laughing and picking holes in group 1's performance that's for sure, but now it's their turn to perform two rehearsals and two real takes under close scrutiny of the "now-relaxing" group 1! The thing is, will you be singing in group 1 or group 2? Both have pros and cons. Of course the birthday girl or boy may wish to sing in both - not a problem with us.
Nibbles and Cake
While your finished session is being mixed and mastered, you have a little time to enjoy a few snacks or a birthday cake should you wish to bring food. Alcoholic beverages for adult parties may be brought with prior arrangement. The Green Room is an ideal place for this with its comfortable seating area and large table. You'll also get to see some the DVD replayed through the 32" LCD TV and monitoring system should you have chosen the DVD option. The Green Room is communally shared with Studio 1 and Studio 2 and there is a simple control panel to switch the TV and monitoring system between each studio should it be required. This does not effect the making of your optional DVD video.
The Finished Mix
After snacks and cake, and just before closing, both mixes are played to all party goers through the Green Room monitoring system.
